Gitwe Hill, Burundi
Adjoining the dense forests of Kibira National Park, small farmers in the area of Gitwe Hill deliver ripe cherries to the Heza washing station which they built with Long Miles Coffee. The Bourbon variety grown here may be an ancestor of Kenya's great SL28. The mouthfeel is smooth with notes of brown sugar, grape, and a hint of blackberry.
