A new year and a new lot from the famed Gesha Village Estate! Gesha Village is the extraordinary project of Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel. It is located just a few miles from the Gesha variety’s birthplace in the Gori Gesha forest. We’ve been sourcing from them since 2017. Their coffees have consistently stood out for their purity, elegance, and radiant florals. Lot 47 shows us why we continue to work with farmers who do not compromise on quality. Despite this year’s harvest being one of the most difficult due to weather that largely reduced yields, the coffee sparkles. The lush cup unfolds with white grape mixed with tangerine and traces of jasmine. It’s concentrated, sweet, and intense - a testament to the place, perseverance, and craft of Gesha Village.
