We partner with cafés, restaurants, hotels, retailers, and hospitality groups of all sizes, from independent family-owned businesses to national brands. We offer comprehensive support including equipment sourcing, preventative maintenance and service coordination, on-site training, staff education, cuppings, menu development, and ongoing operational guidance.

Equipment Services
Selecting the right equipment is an important step, but it can be overwhelming. We work with you to select the correct equipment for your café, restaurant or office needs. We only sell equipment that best brews our craft-roasted coffee including La Marzocco espresso machines, Fetco commercial brewers, and manual brewers, as well as grinders from Mazzer, Grindmaster, and Bunn. If you already have equipment, we will work with your existing machines to maximize the flavor of our coffee.
Technician Services
We have an internal service team, trained directly by the equipment manufacturers, who can calibrate and repair all equipment we sell. For customers outside our area, our network of service technicians will help with any repair or calibration needs.
Training & Support
The relationships we cultivate extend beyond the farmers to the staff and barista’s at our cafés and restaurants, and to our office partners. Our barista trainers will train your staff on coffee and espresso brewing methods at our roastery or on location. We spend time describing the coffees offered and how to communicate to your customers the quality of what you are serving. We believe the more educated consumers become the more they will seek out cafés and restaurants that deliver truly high quality coffee.
Designing Your Coffee Program
With over 50 years of café and restaurant experience, we provide guidance on the layout of your coffee service area for the most efficient workflow as well as help you design a coffee program that meets your goals and needs. We can guide you on your coffee menu choices, pricing, and drink sizes based on your concept, location, and competitors.
We will hold as many tastings of our coffee offerings as necessary until you find the drip coffee and espresso that you, your staff, and your customers will love.

Founded in 2004 in Acton, MA, George Howell Coffee seeks out the finest single origin coffees and roasts them to precision. We strive to share our coffee's terroir in every lot we source, bag we roast, and cup we brew.
A Coffee Pioneer
Our founder George Howell is known as the Godfather of Specialty Coffee. He is pioneer of the industry who helped define the Third Wave Movement.
His journey in coffee started over five decades ago. In 1975, George opened The Coffee Connection cafe in Harvard Square. Over 20 years, he grew to 24 locations throughout New England. During that time, he made strides for the industry including label bags with roast dates and visiting coffee origins. The Coffee Connection became synonymous with quality, single origin coffee, and a place to gather, learn, and experience coffee in its best form..
