In 2004, La Esmeralda and the Peterson family introduced the world to the exquisite Panamanian Geisha, forever changing the landscape of specialty coffee. Since then, their coffees have captured hearts and awards alike, culminating in a historic moment at the 2025 Best of Panama auction where La Esmeralda took first place in every single category, securing a historic Triple Crown victory with the highest scores ever recorded. 

This year, we were offered a very special lot directly from La Esmeralda: Tumaco. This coffee was not included in this year’s auction so we feel very fortunate to have it. Tumaco not only comes from one of the most celebrated farms in the world, but the quality is outstanding. Esmeralda has set the global standard for clarity, elegance, and unforgettable florals. In the cup, Tumaco shines with violet, raspberry, and wildflower honey, along with vibrant notes of mango, jasmine, and honeysuckle.

We have only two roasts of this lot - once it's gone, it's gone!
