Aeropress Brewer
Aeropress Brewer
The Aeropress is one of the more innovative brewing designs in quite some time. It uses a plunger method along with a microfilter to allow for a rich extraction without sediment. The initially pressed brew is a concentrate, to be diluted with hot water to personal taste and extraction preferences. It can perform as a drip brewer, immersion-style, or even make a concentrated shot of espresso. The plastic design is BPA-free and made in the USA, compact and easy to transport.

When pressing out the Aeropress, do not force the plunger down. A slow, steady press out is the key to a clean cup that is free of sediment. When nearing the end, and you can see coffee grounds, ease up on the pressure and stop when you hear a faint hissing noise. Do not push the plunger all the way down. There should be an air space of a couple inches between the plunger and the coffee.
