Cold brew is markedly different from traditional iced coffee, which is brewed hot and flash-chilled producing a bright drink with clarity and sweetness. The cold brew process involves steeping coarsely ground coffee in cold water for up to 24 hours. This creates a full-bodied, beer-like drink with lower perceived acidity and distinctive notes of bittersweet chocolate. For this blend, we specifically selected darker roasted coffees from Guatemala and Costa Rica to fully capture the smooth, rich qualities for which cold brew is best known.
